Gilets should be hand-washed. We recommended using a special wool wash with added lanolin or a gentle soap with a pH below 7. Do not excessively knead or stretch, as the clothing may deform. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly in water of the same temperature, adding a little vinegar in the last hand rinse. Then gently squeeze out the water, do not wring, and dry flat on a towel or mesh to prevent deformation, in a ventilated and non-sunny place.
